Die 17-jährige Lejla arbeitet mit ihrer Freundin Anci (25) in einem edlen Hotelrestaurant über den Dächern von Sarajevo. Eines Tages lernt Lejla Milos (43) kennen, der seit dem Krieg in Bosnien im Ausland lebt und in Sarajevo auf Geschäftsreise ist. Als es dunkel wird, bleiben Milos und Lejla im Hotelrestaurant und kommen sich näher. Ohne zu wissen, was sie am nächsten Morgen erfahren werden.
