In der Küche: Ein Mann und eine Frau sprechen über Rotkäppchens Grossmutter. Sie reden leise, damit sie das Mädchen im Nebenzimmer nicht wecken. Auf einem unbebauten, von Häusern umgebenen Gelände am Stadtrand: Unbenutzte Anhänger stehen herum. Dahinter lauert ein Mann einer vermeintlichen Familie auf. In der Stadt: Derselbe Mann durchquert die Stadt, nachdem er die beiden Schlagbolzen gefunden hat, die er für seine Jagdwaffe benötigt. Der Mann ist 42 Jahre alt und heisst Viorel. Er wird von zweifelhaften Gedanken getrieben und verfolgt ein Ziel, das nur er kennt.
