Es ist Sommer, aber das Leben der 15-jährigen Sara ist kompliziert. Mit ihrem kleinen Bruder im Schlepptau wird sie zu ihrer Mutter in die Ferien geschickt. Ihr Vater besteht darauf, obwohl er von ihr sitzen gelassen wurde. Ihre Mutter haust in einem Wohnwagen auf einem Campingplatz. Was für ein Ort, um ein neues Leben zu beginnen! Zum Glück gibt es den Strand und die Jungs. Wenn man Sara nur erlauben würde, ihr Leben zu leben.
