Martin Rapold

Biography

Born in Switzerland, trained as a classical singer and worked as a free journalist before studying at the European Film Actor School in Zurich. After having earned the Shooting Star award of the European Film Accademy for his lead performance in Florian Froschmayer's feature “Exklusiv” in 2000, he appeared in more than 40 cinema and television productions in Switzerland and throughout Europe. Since being credited co-writer in Riccardo Signorell’s feature “Nocturne” in 2003 he has also written for several other projects and is currently preparing his feature debut as a director.
