Eine filmische Reise durch das Universum weiblicher Männlichkeit. Eine legendäre Drag King Nacht in New York ist Ausgangspunkt einer Odyssee durch Welten jenseits der Geschlechtergrenzen, in welchen Frauen zu Männern werden – die einen für eine Nacht, die andern für ihr ganzes Leben: was bewegt sie, was verändert sich, wovon träumen sie. Die Drag Kings in New York treten in Klubs auf und verwandeln sich lustvoll in ihre männlichen Alter Egos, parodieren sie, erkunden männliche Erotik und Machtstrategien. Frauen in London experimentieren mit Hormonen und werden zu neuen Männern und Cyborgs. Männlichkeit und deren Transformation als Performance, Subversion oder existentielle Notwendigkeit. Ein intimer Film über Menschen, die zwischengeschlechtliche Identitäten kreieren.
