2008
SWISS FILMS, the national film promotion agency, provides an insight into its efficient promotion of Swiss film productions at home and abroad in its Annual Report 2008. Supporting participation at festivals, promoting distribution and organising film programmes abroad all serve to reinforce the international awareness of Swiss film productions. By means of continual documentation and provision of information on domestic filmmaking as well as the organisation of public relations events - the Swiss Film Prize «Quartz» in Lucerne, the Swiss Cinema Day in Locarno or the Short Film Night which toured throughout all of Switzerland - SWISS FILMS draws attention to Swiss film productions at home.
