Distribution Support
n order to improve market opportunities for Swiss films in foreign countries, the Swiss Federal Office of Culture (FOC), in collaboration with SWISS FILMS, subsidises the distribution of Swiss films for cinema release in Europe. From 2012 Swiss film production companies should send their applications to the FOC.
Applications will be reviewed by the FOC’s Release and Diversity Committee. There are four application deadlines per year; applications must be submitted at least two months prior to the scheduled release of the film in cinemas.
