Dieter Gränicher
Biography
Born in 1955 in Erlenbach, Switzerland. 1975 Studies Photography at Palomar College, California. 1976 Founding of "S-8 Film Group Zurich", autodidactic training and filmmaking. 1976-80 Studies Anthropology and Journalism at the University of Zurich. Since 1984 works as independent filmmaker, producer and editor. 1985 Acting classes along the Lee Strasberg method. 1987-89 Seminars on directing with the Polish directors Krzysztof Kieslowski and Edward Zebrowski in Bern. 1992-98 Organizes documentary film seminars. 1996 Founding of momenta film.
