Biography
Born in 1939 in Zurich. 1961 Works as a photographer in Paris. 1962-69 Studies Art History and History of Literature at the University of Zurich. 1969 Graduates with dissertation on Paul Klee. 1970-73 Managing Director of the Swiss Film Center. 1972-76 Editor of the Swiss Film Catalogue. Since 1974 independent filmmaker. Since 1980 head of film department of the “Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Volkskunde”, Basel. Since 1984 lecturer at the University of Zurich.
