In a medieval monastery Brother Benoît, a rotund, congenial, but blundering monk has just received orders from his superiors to clean the immense organ in the church. Accompanied by Françoise, his chicken, he tries his best. Despite his good intentions, however, he triggers one catastrophe after another. And the more he attempts to repair the organ, the worse the situation becomes – until everything winds up in a sea of foam.
