Tokyo FILMeX 2005

The Tokyo FILMeX Festival (19 - 27 November 2005) is a relatively new festival which has already made a name for itself thanks to its international competition, special focus on different countries, retrospectives and thematic film series. The film series "Swiss Treasures" comprises six classics from the 1920s to the 1940s, masterpieces which were either directed or produced in Switzerland by internationally known names of the screen, for example, Sergej Eisenstein, Leopold Lindtberg and Dimitri Kirsanoff. Swiss film historian Dr. Mariann Sträuli Farinelli is a member of the jury for the international competition.
