Mime has his old car, his hitchhikers bound for their destinations and his fresh-water fish. They are all he needs. He dreams of leaving, but he does not have the courage to act. Fanfan dreams of learning to swim. He will be able to count on Mime, who is a very capable swimmer. In turn, Fanfan will ask him to jump in the water too.
Mime ha la sua vecchia auto, i suoi autostoppisti da portare a destinazione e i suoi pesci d’acqua dolce. È tutto ciò di cui ha bisogno. Sogna di andarsene ma non ne ha il coraggio. Fanfan sogna di imparare a nuotare. Potrà contare su Mime, che se la cava bene a nuotare. E a sua volta Fanfan lo costringerà a «buttarsi».
