Documentary, 85 min.
by Gabriele Schärer
Switzerland, April 2002
A millennium has ended, and with it has ended patriarchy. That is the idea that lies behind this documentary film. In it a theologist, Marga Bührig, a gynecological nurse, Heidi Ensner, a philosopher, Luisa Muraro, and a trade union leader, Christiane Brunner, each tells the story of her own personal liberation, in the context of the general women's liberation movement.
