Jean wants to escape from his mountain village and the life he leads there. He vents his frustration and sadness on his wife and his son Marc. In a moment of anger he abandons Marc at the roadside. The soul of a beautiful young woman condemned to roam in the forest helps Marc and seizes the opportunity to enter into contact with Jean and seek his aid...
