C'est mourir un peu?
Fiction, 61 min.
by Antoine Plantevin
Switzerland, October 2001
This film was shot in three nights in an area limited to 500 metres. It simultaneously tells six separate and independent stories, which then merge into one. The various characters cross each other’s paths due to coincidences at their points of departure and the physical proximity of their respective situations. Each little story is built on a narrative structure that leaves room for accidental happenings. The actors are guided by basic dialogues written in such a way as to give them just the central idea of the character they must interpret, making their way tentatively from the point of
departure with the help of improvisations.
