The seven-year-old Indian Triwheni is invited to the cinema by a barber who is just passing through. He ends up 1000 kilometres away, in a city of carpet-weavers. The boy's experiences are reminiscent of the age of Dickens. This film is about Triwheni's sufferings and his final liberation.
Il piccolo indù Triwheni, sette anni, è invitato al cinema da un barbiere ambulante e si ritrova così a più di 1000 Km da casa, in una città dove intrecciano tappeti. Le esperienze che vivrà, ricordano più l’epoca di Dickens che l’epoca moderna. Il film racconta le sofferenze e la liberazione del bambino.
