A feathered couple sitting on an electric wire celebrates their marriage by eating the worms brought to them by the other birds. It is time to start thinking of extending the family, but the stork flies too far away while the patient cat lies in wait.
The warmth of the colours, the humour and the fantasy of certain scenes lends this animated film its wit and lightness, despite the story’s tragedy.
