When fighter pilot Philippe is killed in an accident, he faces his toughest challenge yet – in the hereafter. As an angel, his task is to ensure that his widowed wife Anja may start a new life without him and be happy again. Together with a more experienced angel and with the help of Philippe’s best friend Albin, Anja’s grief fades over time. But Philippe doesn’t expect Anja and Albin to fall in love! With some of Switzerland’s best acting talent, including Martin Rapold, Anja’s Engel is a tongue in cheek comedy drama about saying goodbye, letting go and new beginnings. Even angels are human.
