Anna Martens will never forgive herself for the fact that she did not prevent her husband Lukas from driving to his office again. Shortly thereafter he died in an accident. All indications point to suicide. The life insurance company refuses to make the payment, meaning Anna will lose her livelihood if she unable to refute their suspicions. To make matters worse, not only are mysterious things happening, but Anna's investigations reveal that her husband had obviously been leading a double life. She is shattered and seems to be left with nothing until she finally gets a lead on a cold, cunning conspiracy...
