Ira is russian, Ivan Tashkov too. She is 23 years old, lives in Geneva with her mother and knows very little about her motherland. Tashkov is an alleged Russian mafia godfather, in prison waiting for a political-economical trial. Translator for Tashkov's defence lawyer, Ira very quickly falls under the spell of Tashkov, a powerful and cultivated man, who seems to read her thoughts. On the other hand, Tashkov immediately understands how to manipulate the young woman who is looking for her roots and strives to find her own way in life. Little by little Ira lets herself be captured by a world unknown to her where she is trapped between Tashkov and his lawyer Mayard, a brilliant, charming but ambiguous man. It's too late when Ira understands that danger also hides where you least expect.
