The Vogelbach family, comprised of parents Claudia and Peter and their four children Seba (15), Luca (13), Niko (11) and Sophie (3), could be straight out of a picturebook. They live in an idyllic location on the Swiss-German border, have a large house with a garden, a Newfoundland dog, two cats and . sh. Actually, it would be a perfect life if Luca weren’t disabled. A great deal of their lives revolves around Luca, the . xed star, who can only communicate with his own sign language of gestures and sounds and quickly becomes impatient when things don’t work or he doesn’t get what he wants. At the same time, he is the source of joy and harmony when he feels happy.
