By telling the story of the Solé Sugranyes family, the film charts the activities of the Iberian liberation movement, a revolutionary cell which was active at the end of Franco’s dictatorship in Catalonia. On a long journey that begins in Geneva, leads to Spain and ultimately returns to Switzerland, the film discovers a network of various people and places. In Barcelona we meet Xita, 85, mother of eleven children. Five of them were involved in the MIL’s struggles. One of them, Oriol, lost his life in an attempt to escape, shot by the Guardia Civil.
