Documentary, 67 min.

Switzerland, January 2010
Can western doctors impart expert knowledge to their Vietnamese colleagues? The patients of this Mekong hospital don’t need machinery, but rather sensitive treatment as well as methods and knowledge of the latest standard. Gonseth and Azad’s film centers around a team of Swiss doctors who repeatedly make their way to Can Tho in Vietnam with admirable endurance. The contacts made during these years are valuable and highlight the differences in approach regarding areas of hygiene, education, patient contact and life and death.
