A poignant story involving the Spanish Civil War. The oppressive silence and a father’s recollection, secrecy maintained throughout their daughters’ generation. Memories and silence for more than 70 years. The reminders are constantly present for the father, also for the comrades in his battalion. They meet and talk about it every year on April 28. This date commemorates their dedication to the Republicans when they were 17 years old – children of defeat and silence. Until the family secrets are brought to light!
