Gabrielle is a sixty-year-old woman who leads a full life, enjoying her friends, her daughter Elvire and her profession as an antique dealer, which she truly loves. When she receives notice for the termination of the lease on her shop in a middle-class neighbourhood in Geneva, her emotions and her professional perspectives are shattered. Being forced to retire is her greatest fear. She thus abandons her friends, her lover and her daughter and seeks new horizons with Fred, a 25-year-old sculptor from Portugal.
