From Montreal to Milan, London, Moscow and Mexico, this film portrays an unprecedented image of theatre director Daniele Finzi Pasca. Beginning with “Icaro”, his first show, the film traces other such stupendous performances as “Rain,” “Nebbia” and “Donka”. With the aid of statements by people from his circle of friends, the documentary unveils the artist’s background, thereby granting viewers insight into how compassionately he creates his shows. A 360-degree journey with an extraordinary man whom the film’s director, without hesitation, refers to as the “world’s greatest dream-maker”.

Accanto al primo spettacolo ideato da Daniele, «Icaro», assistiamo alle sue rappresentazioni più imponenti. Il film ci permette di curiosare dietro le quinte, di capire come Daniele costruisce i suoi spettacoli, di apprezzare la sua grande umanità. Ascoltando le testimonianze di quelli che lo conoscono bene, un viaggio a 360 in compagnia di una persona straordinaria,che il regista definisce «l più grande fabbricatore di sogni al mondo».
