New York. Lucien Dubuis and his music trio from Biel are recording a new disc with American guitarist Marc Ribot. While the scenes of the musicians and the city of New York are indeed impressive, especially extraordinary is the production of this music film. It transcends classic documentation and demonstrates how music films can be made today. The filmmaker himself takes a hand in the quartet's musical compositions, creating his own remix, as it were, comprised of image compositions, city noises and studio recordings.
