Jean-Pierre Althaus leaves his job as director of the Théâtre de l’Octogone, which he founded over 30 years ago in Pully, to work again as an actor. What memories does he still have from this period? Gianni Notaro allows the former director and some of the celebrities who were associated with the Otogone to speak. Candidly, they share thoughts, joys and effronteries. The human being with his weaknesses and strengths, society: these are the themes near and dear to these people. This is social criticism which unites audience and actors, where the exceptional allows the misery to be forgotten and instead poses questions. Just like the actor himself.
