A surgeon and famous paediatrician is found murdered with a scalpel in his neck during a charity run. Inspector Reto Flückiger and his team of investigators at the CID in Lucerne search for the perpetrator among the doctors who work in the same hospital. When it comes to light that the surgeon’s associate was having an affair with his wife, the police trace this lead – until a tragedy in a police officer’s private life lends the case an entirely new twist.
