Bank secrecy, the minaret ban and tax dispute: Switzerland has an image problem. But have no fear, Simon and Andreas will rectify it. The two filmmakers decide to correct Switzerland’s tattered image abroad and set thus out in search of the right picture. Their goal: a promotional film that puts the Swiss Confederation in the proper perspective. But the Tour de Suisse unintentionally shows more negative than positive features. A satirical documentary that unsparingly exposes the dearth of solidarity and escalating xenophobia in the small Alpine country.
