Little Sina is a perfectly normal child. She likes to laugh, paint and dream, and loves expressing all her thoughts in pictures. But there is no room in her glowingly colourful fantasy world for the structured alphabetical world of adults. At school, Sina refuses to learn the written language. Following a sobering talk with the teacher and school management, Sina’s mother attempts to get the child to write by exercising increasing pressure at home. The little one blocks all attempts. The conflict between the two escalates, and the mother is successful. But this is not without its consequences.
