How can priests, inexperienced in conjugal life, speak to couples of today? Claude Ducarroz, a priest nearing the age of retirement, has a progressive approach and does not hesitate to question the Vatican’s precepts. The younger Father Jean advocates a radical engagement on the part of priests for celibacy. The film follows the future couples in the adventure that prepares them for the religious sacrament, accompanied by these priests with very different approaches to, principally, the manner in which the church speaks of love today.
