Mila, a 10 year old girl, records the sounds of her everyday life. At school, with her family, outside, she captures her surroundings on a small tape recorder she carries everywhere. As her grandfather's birthday approaches, Mila plans a very special gift, featuring her unknowing family. How will this present be received?

Mila, una ragazzina di 10 anni, registra i suoni della sua vita. A scuola, in famiglia, all’esterno, cattura l’ambiente che la circonda con un piccolo registratore che porta sempre con sé. Con l'avvicinarsi del compleanno del nonno, Mila si dedica giorno e notte alla preparazione di un regalo speciale, che avrà come protagonista l'intera famiglia..
