Twenty-eight-year-old Janko returns to his godforsaken village after several years of living in Belgrade, where he worked hard for little money. His mountain village is nearly deserted and Janko's intention is to sell his land. He wants to work in Switzerland, so as to finally be rid of his financial problems. His lonely mother Milica has been hoping for a long time that Janko would be back with a wife and have a family there. She will do everything to make him change his mind. He is willing to do anything to secure his future – even to sell his father's grave!
