When the nights become cooler and the last holiday visitors strike camp, the “Schützenweiher” campground on the outskirts of Winterthur becomes the destination of people who do not have a fixed residence – and every year there are more. The film accompanies local inhabitants and the new arrivals on the campground for one entire winter, immersing us in the universe of the apparent idyll on the fringes of society.
