1938. He is Alfred Katz, a self-taught working man, Trotskyite activist and lover of poetry. She is Mila, Man Ray’s favourite nude model. His dream is to remake the world. Hers, to make some change in life. Katz falls madly in love with Mila. As Stalin begins to settle some old scores with political trials in Moscow, in Paris hit men dispatched by the OGPU/NKVD (predecessor of the KGB) begin targeting Katz' friends…
