“Your story is truly unique” says another Shoah survivor to Binjamin in this film. A musician and historian on the eve of his 60th birthday, Wilkomirski as a child survived two German concentration camps. The film is about the difficulty of remembering, and particularly the shame and anguish that one has to overcome to be able to speak of such an experience.
