Victor and Betty, an odd couple. Already in his sixties, Victor is twice Betty’s age. The only obvious explanation for their strange relationship is that of a partnership in crime. The pair tour provincial towns in France and the bordering countries in their camping car, looking for business conventions where Betty can fleece promising prey. The fact they are never caught is due to Victor’s belief in keeping his demands modest. Things go terribly wrong however and the pair find themselves mixed up in money laundering and international trafficking in foreign currency. Can the forces of evil prevail in this cold and humourless world, or is there some hope for Victor and Betty as they struggle to survive?
