Emilie, Stella, Inès and Marion meet at school and form a band of four. They “nominate” ideal boyfriends, in each case men older than themselves and beyond reach. Later, at the age of 16, Stella, Inès and Marion have an exciting time together on holiday in Italy, while Emilie remains behind in Paris for acting lessons. In the final year of school, Stella can’t bear the fact that the others are taking their certificate so seriously. The friends’ paths diverge…
