“Cyrill trifft" is an uncommon journey through the past year with prominent figures whom we have never seen like this: Anne-Marie Blanc, Gardi Hutter, Moritz Leuenberger, Reto Pavoni, Martin Schenkel and abbot Martin Werlen. All of them have been asked Cyrill's questions. Cyrill is 35, and has trisomy 21, more commonly known as Down's Syndrome. The encounters are extraordinary: the questions deal with professions, Switzerland, love and life in general; they are about bratwursts, bears, the "Rütlischwur" and September 11th. In addition, Cyrill "strolls" through the worlds of those interviewed and discovers things we no longer even know how to see. He himself summarises his unrestrained and perceptive curiosity most brilliantly: "noble!"
