A wedding, she's in white, he’s in a tuxedo, a young couple in love. He flees from Kurdistan, hiding for 15 days in the back of a truck before he finds himself standing on a street in Dresden. She boards a crowded ship with her baby and lands in Italy. She lives with her son, who quickly learns Italian, in a small village in Calabria, he in a German city. They want to get together. They haven’t seen each other for three years. But neither is allowed to leave the country. Although joined in marriage by an Imam, their marital status is not recognized in Europe. And it’s very risky to meet illegally. Can love overcome borders? Will their dream come true?

Un matrimonio, lei vestita di bianco, lui in frac, una giovane coppia di innamorati. Lui scappa dal Curdistan. Il suo viaggio, nascosto su un autocarro, dura 15 giorni. Alla fine si ritrova a Dresda in mezzo ad una strada. Lei sale su una nave sovraffollata, sbarca in Italia. Col suo bambino, che impara subito l’italiano, lei vive in un borgo della Calabria, lui nella città tedesca. Vogliono ricongiungersi. Sono tre anni che non si vedono. Non possono lasciare il paese in cui vivono. Il loro matrimonio, contratto di fronte all’Imam, non è riconosciuto in Europa. Un incontro illegale è rischioso. L’amore riuscirà a superare le frontiere? Il loro sogno si avvererà?
