Silvano Beltrametti was viewed by many as Switzerland's greatest skiing talent, until his career was cut tragically short by a serious fall. As a result, Beltrametti is now a paraplegic. Yet far from cursing his fate, he has fought back with an unquenchable will to live. Having completed his rehabilitation in record time, he has regained his quality of life, despite the wheelchair. The film accompanies Beltrametti throughout his rehabilitation, and returns with him to Val d'Isère, the site of his tragic accident. A great testament to human will and determination, Beltrametti's story is inspiring and thought-provoking.
