Jonas, a seventeen year old boy, lives alone in the city. As if by chance, he encounters Yoshka, an absent-minded old man who loves his solitude and is generally regarded as crazy. He lives in a gloomy quarter of the town in a large shed in the middle of a graveyard. A series of ritual trials follow the stormy meeting. If Jonas passes the tests, the old man will entrust him with his secret, his knowledge of life. The two men will remain inseparably united, in a time and space where death is the realization of the imagination.
