Entre ciel et terre
Documentary, 19 min.
by Jean-François Amiguet
Switzerland, May 2005
The main purpose of this documentary is to show how close was the relationship between the artistic and scientific values developed by Léo-Paul Robert and his son Paul-André at the beginning of the last century. In thus building a bridge between art and science, while underlining their concern about the environment and the need to conserve it, the approach of these two highly signi. cant Swiss naturalist painters was modern to an extent that would have surprised even them and which would be fully appreciated only a century later.
