Switzerland, May 2008

A football match between two very mismatched marmot teams. One team is the “Superkickers”: strong, brawny, fearless and equipped with all the tricks – both permissible and impermissible – known to football. They are pros, alpha marmots, with an ultra-tough Superkicker as the team captain. The other team is the “Underdogs”: clumsy, fearful and weak – and they don’t stand a chance. There is also the fact that the referee is biased and in over his head. Predictably, the Superkickers quickly take the lead. But when a gigantic eagle casts its shadow over the football pitch, all marmots are suddenly equal…
