A man has to sell the holiday home he has spent such happy times in. His daughters have grown up, they have children of their own, their own places. Reluctantly, he opens up the house for the prospective buyers: a young couple with a small daughter. But when they arrive, radiantly happy, in love and eager to find the ideal place for themselves, the house owner is reminded of himself, 30 years before. This unexpected glimpse of his past in their future makes handing over somehow easier to bear.
