Few people are aware of the fact that the Sahara is full of plastic waste. Plastic bags in particular have been piling up for many years and today form a layer that apart from the pollution it represents is a terrible eyesore. This intrusion also upsets the desert’s fragile equilibrium. Born in a tent and now an engineer in Switzerland, Ali has decided to combat the new scourge.
