Music of wind and rustling of weeds announce the cymbals which in turn call the voice. A percussion of instruments marks the rhythm and the beginning of the song. This black and white film shows us and makes us listen to a performance by Antonio Accurso, his tammurra and his dancers, singing an old Neapolitan popular song. It transports us to a place of memory, an old pavilion in ruins in a Roman park. Song and dancers seem to be spirits of the past who, for a few moments, give back life to these abandoned places, tortured by change of culture and oblivion.
