Following the end of the Korean War 200'000 Korean children were scattered around the world. Jung is one of them, born in 1965 in Seoul and adopted in 1971 by a Belgian family. The film, an adaptation of a graphic novel, revisits several key moments in Jung’s life: the orphanage, his arrival in Belgium, family life, a difficult adolescence. These were the events that led to his acceptance of his diversity. Themes of uprooting, identity, integration, maternal love, as well as the weaving together of a multi-cultural family are also addressed.
