This is a road movie, inspired by my travel logs, that traces my trip through Ethiopia. A bit naïve, well-intentioned and prisoner despite myself of the gap which divides north and south, I throw myself into the discovery of a country about which I know two things: the songs of my childhood learned by heart in order to save children from famine, and the memory of a woman whom I loved. Along the way, my encounters strip me of the ideas I had held, leaving me to discover a country which is the complete opposite from what I had imagined.
